This mini course is designed to guide you through the process of garden maintenance and hygiene for disease resistance, easier weeding, and increased yields. Not to mention that these best practices in the garden will also set you up to have a garden with great aesthetic appeal. You will also discover the world of succession planting, that little trick that will help you grow greens and other short season plants all season long. On top of these items, we'll cover all my harvesting, cleaning, and storage techniques for a beautiful harvest with longer shelf life. For most of us, that moment of harvest is the most rewarding part of growing our own garden. This section will help you improve you harvest game by increasing you knowledge around when, how, and why we harvest different crops at certain times of day. You'll also learn proper processing and storage procedures that will allow you hold your harvest for weeks if not months.

In this mini course we begin to look at the various techniques we can implement in order to create a well watered, easier to maintain, and bio-diverse garden. You will discover all the different ways we can create vertical garden spaces using trellis, cages, and/or stakes. Determine what sort of watering system best suits your space and your needs. Identify pests, proactively manage potential pest problems, and react appropriately if you discover pest issues in your garden.
